A critical analysis (and comparison) of the two major interpretations of Marxist-Leninism, and their effects (particularly in the 70s) in both countries where they had some major influence. Based on a series of interviews, and discussions with, (then) prominent intellectuals, and activists, including Jean-Paul Sartre, Jean-Luc Godard, Louis Althusser, Amrir Baraka, James Cannon, Bob Avakian and more.
